  5. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  6.  
  7.   WinChess requires a 386 computer with Windows 3.x installed
  8.   and a graphics adapter capable of displaying 32,000 colors.
  9.  
  10. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  11.  
  12.   WinChess must be installed onto a hard disk or floppy
  13.   disk with at least 1212KB free space.
  14.  
  15.   1. Go to a DOS command line.
  16.   
  17.   2. Create a temporary directory to uncompress WinChess into.
  18.  
  19.   3. Un-Compress WCHSS25A.xxx into that directory. 
  20.      Where xxx is the compression's extention.
  21.      (ZIP and ARJ are common compression programs used)
  22.  
  23.   4. Go into that directory and run SETUP.BAT.
  24.  
  25.   5. Go into Windows and either double click on the WINCHESS.EXE file
  26.      in File Manager, or add an icon for WinChess into a group by
  27.      choosing New from the File Menu.
